I wanted to share some of my favorite images from a delightful Corona Del Mar wedding I photographed recently. Prior to their wedding day, I had met neither Weiping nor Larry (though I had been corresponding with Larry by phone & email), so I was full of nervous excitement when I arrived on scene at Five Crowns that morning. I surveyed the scene and noticed all the intricate details that the bride and groom had put together, and then I made my way to the back of the venue, where I shook hands with Larry and immediately noticed how warm and wonderful their friends and family were. From hanging decor to arranging chairs to doing a last-minute sound check, everyone was pitching in, and it was apparent how tight-knit this celebration would feel. Weiping arrived shortly thereafter, and I couldn’t help but smile at how infectiously joyful and delightful she was.
It was such a pleasure to watch these two really connect with each other on their wedding day instead of be stressed about details and timelines. I loved that they held hands, hugged, acted silly around each other, and showed their gratitude toward each other so expressively. Weiping & Larry, congratulations! And thank you so much for letting me be part of your special day.
A reluctant flower girl…
Let’s not mention how many attempts it actually took for them to eventually tear through this banner. This attempt was clearly not one of those times. 🙂
